Just in time for the long summer months, leading children’s audio system tonies has unveiled a line-up of brand-new content launching in June and July. The newest gang of Tonies include Peppa Pig’s George, Tee and Mo, Swan Lake, Pinocchio and Monty & Co, as well as PJ Masks superheroes Owlette, Catboy and Gekko. In addition, the company is launching Rainbow, Mountain and Cloud, three original new shelving solutions perfect for storing your child’s library of Tonies.
Preschoolers will love the new addition Peppa Pig Tonie as George joins his sister Peppa on the Toniebox with ten funny tales narrated by John Sparkes, including the story of George’s New Dinosaur. Featuring fan favourite characters Peppa Pig, Daddy Pig, Mr Bull and more, the new George Tonie has a running time of 59 minutes and is suitable for ages 3+.
Introducing children to some of the beautiful music from Tchaikovsky’s magical ballet, the new Swan Lake Tonie tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, a wronged heroine who has been transformed into the Queen of the Swans by evil sorcerer, Baron Rothbart. Only true love can save Odette from the sorcerer’s spell, but is Prince Siegfried’s love strong enough to break the curse? Running time approximately 45 minutes; suitable for ages 5+.
Three brand new PJ Masks Tonies jam-packed with superhero stories and songs from the TV series are set to thrill preschoolers this summer and beyond. Follow the exciting adventures of the crime-busting trio as young friends Amaya, Connor and Greg wait until nightfall to put on their pyjamas, activate their animal amulets and transform into their superhero personas to solve mysteries and fight evil villains. Each Tonie runs for approximately 45 minutes and is suitable for ages 4+.
The delightful new Tee and Mo Tonie contains three charming stories and six catchy songs that explore scenarios familiar to children and their caregivers everywhere, while inspiring imaginative play at home too. Songs and stories tell the tale of a funny and precocious little monkey called Tee, and his clever and unstoppable mum, Mo. Running time 39 minutes; suitable for ages 3+.
The relaunched Favourite Classics Pinocchio Tonie offers young listeners a world of adventure with four timeless stories they’ll love. Join puppet Pinocchio on his quest to become a ‘real boy’, and meet The Railway Children as their lives change forever following the disappearance of their father. Enjoy the charming tale of a group of animal friends – Badger, Ratty, Mole and Toad – in The Wind in the Willows and follow the adventures of Black Beauty, a horse from 19th century England. Running time approximately 120 minutes; suitable for ages 3+.
Last but not least, tonies welcomes Monty & Co, a mini musical comedy drama about a blended family of puppets that spend their days repairing, reinventing and upcycling everything from broken clocks to musical instruments with sometimes surprising results. Aimed at preschoolers, Monty & Co’s stories are brimming with irresistible fun, joy and silliness. Running time approximately 60 minutes; suitable for ages 3+.
Tee and Mo and Peppa Pig’s George will be available from 20 June, and Swan Lake, PJ Masks (Catboy, Gekko, Owlette), Monty & Co and Pinocchio will be able from 20 July from selected toy retailers, bookshops and via the tonies website, www.tonies.com.
