With the end of CS:GO and the beginning of the era of CS2, one thing caught the attention of FPS players. The word ‘CSGO’ is banned from Steam. A Valve banned the use of names in players’ nicknames to prevent theft on the online gaming platform.

When a player attempts to use the word ‘CSGO’, four asterisks are placed in their place. If the player tries to use only ‘CSGO’, an error message is displayed on the screen: “There was an error with your profile name”.
