O Modo Arena 2v2v2v2 has been one of Riot’s biggest successes in recent times, and this could lead to it becoming a permanent mode in League of Legends. Currently, only ARAM is a permanent mode in the game.
Will 2v2v2v2 Arena Mode be permanent in LoL?
Rumors that this could happen have been circulating on the internet for a few weeks, and now more signs that it could be true have appeared. On the PBE, Riot’s test server, LoL’s Arena Mode received a dedicated space in the game’s interface.
All LoL custom modes occupy the “Rotary Modes” space, with only ARAM and TFT having dedicated spaces, precisely because they are permanent.
Community approves the change
For the community, making the 2v2v2v2 Arena Mode permanent is a good move by Riot, as it is a little faster than a conventional match, something that many players are currently looking for.
So far, Riot has not yet talked about the possibility of it being permanent, but it has already announced several new features for Arena Mode. It is scheduled to return in patch 13.24, on December 13th.
